In the course of serving you, our client Seattle Asset Management, Inc. obtains personal information about you.Obtaining this information is necessary for us to provide you with the highest level of service and commitment.The information you provide to us is kept in the strictest confidence. We are proud to make this commitment to you becaus e trust is the foundation of our business.

This policy describes the types of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use the information, the circumstances in which we may share information and the way we safeguard the information to protect your privacy. We, our and us when used in this notice refers to Seattle Asset Management, Inc.

This is our privacy policy for our customers who have a continuing management relationship.

The Sources of Information

We only collect information that you provide us. Primarily this information comes from account applications, Investment Management Agreements and other forms or materials you provide to us during the course of your relationship with us. In other words: information you the client, provide. We may also collect information we have about your transactions and information you provide third party custodians.

Finally in compliance with state and federal regulations, information may be collected from you in indirectly (e.g. emails). This information is subject to strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This information is not accessed on a routine basis, but may be used for compliance purposes.

The Information we collect about you

If you have a relationship with Seattle Asset Management as a client, we typically collect the following information:
  • Your name, address and other contact details
  • Your age, occupation and marital status
  • Extensive financial information, including source of wealth, investment experience, objectives and other financial resources.
Certain information that addresses money laundering and related matters:

A head and shoulder photograph such as a driver’s license or passport photo or national identity card as required by laws and regulations addressing due diligence and compliance and a personal identifier such as a social security number.

How we use your Personal Information

We may use your personal information to administer, facilitate and manage your relationship with Seattle Asset Management. This may include sharing such information with third parties as described below:
  • Contact you, or if applicable, your designated representative(s) by post, telephone, email or facsimile etc. in connection with your management account;
  • Provide you with information such as account statements quarterly market letters recommendations, advice or other services and
  • Facilitate our internal business operations when acting on your behalf and complying with our legal and regulatory requirements.

If your relationship with Seattle Asset Management ends, Seattle Asset management will continue to treat your personal information in the manner described in this policy.

The Confidentiality, Security and Integrity of your Information

Seattle Asset Management does not disclose your personal information except as described in this policy. Third party disclosures may include sharing your information with non -affiliated third parties that perform support services for your account or transact or your behalf. Non-affiliated companies that that assist Seattle Asset Management in providing services to you are required to maintain the confidentiality of information provided to the extent they receive it and to use such information only in the course of providing services and only for the purposes Seattle Asset Management dictates.

We may also disclose your information to third parties by your express consent. Examples of this might include brokers, CPAs or attorneys with whom you have a relationship. Finally we may disclose (under limited circumstances) your personal information to third parties as permitted by, or to comply with applicable laws and regulations: for instance when responding to a subpoena or similar legal process, to:

  • Protect against fraud and to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
Seattle Asset Management will never sell your personal information.
